This was a very tough tournament with a number of nationally ranked teams.
Cox (VA) had recently defeated the nation's 12th ranked team Western Branch
(VA) in a dual meet. Additionally, Rock Hill is a nationally ranked team as
well as the defending SC state champions. Great Bridge (VA) is also
nationally ranked and the VA state champions.
Paulsboro (NJ) is also the defending NJ state champions.
Cary flexed it's muscle and each Cary wrestler placed no lower than 6TH.
Cary's 145 lbs Anthony Walton was voted the tournament's OW.
