On Tuesday Bandys wrestlers defeated Hibriten 61-15 in their first conference match of the season. The Trojans scored 9 pins, 2 forfeits, and 2 decisions in the victory. In the top match up of the evening, Hibriten's undefeated Josh Woodruff (22-0) decisioned Jarvis McCullough 9-3. This was McCullough's first loss of the season. Both wrestlers were state place winners last season and are top ranked in the state this season in their divisions. Woodruff normally wrestles in the 215lb-weight division but bumped up for the match up. For Bandys Sean McIntosh remains undefeated at 27-0. Eric Burns is 26-1 and McCullough is 25-1. Bandys is now (16-2) overall in dual meets. The Trojans will host West Caldwell Friday evening in an other conference match.
