On Friday evening the Bandys wrestlers defeated West Caldwell 73-3 in a conference match. The Trojans had 10 pins and 3 forfeits while only losing a close decision at 140lbs. The win brought Bandys to 2-0 in the conference and 17-2 overall. This sets up a very important dual meet with West Iredell next Tuesday. Last season Bandys defeated the Warriors in a dual meet to win the conference title, but the West Iredell came back two weeks later and won the conference tournament to share league honors with the Trojans. This key match will be at West Iredell on Tuesday night. Preliminaries begin at 6:00pm, varsity at 7:00pm.
