Comment: Two-time SC champion won a 7-2 decision in state finals.
119 - Melvin Nelson, Rock Hill, Jr., 35-6.
Comment: Won his second straight SC title, and a vocal team leader.
125 - Marcus Cherry, Rock Hill, Sr. 39-0.
Comment: Won his third consecutive SC title. Rarely tested during a perfect season.
130 - Eric Burns, Bandys, Jr., 21-1.
Comment: Returned from an early-season elbow injury to win state championship.
135 - Andy Madison, Statesville, Jr., 52-2.
Comment: Won his second straight title, after runner-up as a freshman in 1998.

Comment: Didn't lose en route to becoming the second state champ in school history.
