UNC Wrestlers Receive National Awards - Freshmen Skyler Holman and Nick Richmond were named to the Amateur Wrestling News All-Rookie Team for 2000.

NWCA announces All-Academic Teams - several North Carolina wrestlers make the list. Campbell University ranks 6th out of all Division I schools, with an average GPA of 3.0746. NC State is 23rd with a 2.8883.
Individually, Zach Brietenbach of NC State made the first team, with a 3.992 GPA. Making the 2nd Team were John Christian (3.87) and Billy Greene (3.8) of Campbell, and Honorable Mentions were UNC's Clint Osborn (3.64) and Jamie Groudle (3.39). Congratulations to these young men for setting an example by excelling in the classroom as well as on the mat!
