Coach Ray Leathers, Assistant Wrestling Coach at Northern High School must have a kidney and pancreas transplant due to diabetes and chronic renal failure. A volunteer committee of family, friends, students and parents have raised $60,000 of the $100,000 needed for transplant / medication expenses not covered by insurance. Coach Leathers is currently on dialysis and his transplant surgery is planned for the fall of 2002:'

HOW CAN YOu HELP?

Be a volunteer. We meet every Sunday from 3:30- 5:00 in Room G2 at Northern High School (under the new gym). Volunteers are needed to help with mailings, fundraisers, recruiting and more. Your skills and your time are truly gifts you can donate to help a man that donates his time for our children.
