2008-09 Dual & Tournament Openings

When you submit multiple openings, please send a complete paragraph listing for each date! ie, please don't say "North HS is looking for a Tri Nov 12, a tournament Nov 16, Dec 6, and Jan 11, and duals on Nov 23, Dec 14, and Jan 20. Contact "Coach Name" at "coach number". If you do this, it will delay your posting. This openings section has grown quite a bit, and it's much easier when I can just copy and paste from an email instead of having to type a paragraph for each event. Thanks!

Two teams from PA are looking for a tournament on the weekend of 12/12/08 and 12/13/08. last year we traveled to West Oak HS in South Carolina and would like to continue the tradition of traveling on the second weekend of our season. The two high schools are Avon Grove HS and Academy Park HS (both in District 1). We are average teams looking for an average tournament. The idea here is that two teams from PA will take our place next year at West Oak and we will go to North Carolina and the following year we will switch back. My cell is 267-972-5563. Again we are looking for average teams to wrestle, we are not hammers from the north!!!.

JANUARY

January 3 - The 6th Annual Hawk Duals hosted by Hanover HS in Mechanicsville, VA.
The 16 team dual advancement tournament will take place on Saturday, January 3, 2009.
Teams will be seeded and placed in a 16 team bracket. Teams are guaranteed three matches and some teams will have four to five matches. There will be eight rounds of wrestling on four mats beginning at 9:00 am and the finals starting at 7:30 pm. Teams have been invited from Virginia, Maryland, North Carolina, West Virginia, Delaware, Pennsylvania, and New Jersey. Let me know if you have any questions and please respond to reserve your spot.
