** Hall and Lancaster were both declared state champions even though Hall won officially 2-2, 4-4, Criteria #3. But since the two had actually tied the bout in points, both were given state titles. The referee, after reviewing the criteria, accidently raised Lancaster's hand intstead of Hall's. Bedlam ensued, and as the coaches noted the mistake, the referee went back and raised Hall's hand. This is but one reason why the current tiebreaker is the best way to decide bouts that remain tied through OT.
